{Celebrating Wedding Brilliance} Engaged & Inspired

This post is special, as it's about someone near and dear to me. She's a former client, turned colleague, and now friend, who also happens to be one of The Lab co-creators. Let's chat a bit about Allison Silber of Engaged & Inspired.

Over the course of the past 2 years I have witnessed Allison grow what began as a creative outlet and place to inspire and help other brides in the form of her blog, into an enterprising brand centered around working with planning brides to achieve their wedding vision. Engaged & Inspired has far expanded its reach beyond being simply another wedding blog. Late last year, Allison created The Inspired Guide, a wedding vendor directory with 1000 vendors that "helps brides stay in budget and still finding the perfect vendors for their big day".

In addition, Allison loves to connect with brides personally and share the volumes of information she's gathered about weddings and the industry. To that end, she took things out of the virtual world and recently opened the doors of Inspired Collective, a real brick and mortar shop nestled in the heart of downtown Campbell in the South Bay. The team's goal is to "help brides stay calm and stay inspired to create a wedding with personality. From crafty details to budget issues we want to be there through highs and lows offering advice, inspiration, and recommendations to keep on track and inspired. Inspired Collective offers crafting and meeting spaces, must-have bridal accessories of the season, and several very unique services that you won’t find anywhere else such as a bridal consulting service aptly called Bride Love".

Aside from being one of the co-creators of The Lab, Allison (along with The Inspired Guide) is creating The Library at the event. We can't wait to see all of the goodness that  she has in store for this neat little section of the event in January. Super thankful to have Allison as part of the team and inspiration for The Lab!
