At The Collection you can peruse portfolios of some of the area's best vendors, purchase wedding day essentials and meet with your team of vendors all in one day. We love it! Not only that the space is so creative and inspiring it is also perfect to do some crafting. The lovely ladies there are so warm and helpful and are always offering fun classes.

Emarie from the collection will be also doing a discussion at The Lab about vendors, questions you should ask your vendors and all other pertinent info about hiring vendors, with time for Questions so bring em'.

{Vintage Pretties} Milkglass Vintage Rentals

Milkglass Vintage Rentals is a perfect addition to any wedding. Her finds can be added to any wedding in countess ways to create something simply amazing. Her collection of goodies never seizes to amaze and excite me. Just like with any of our lovely vendors, the proof is in the photos, and let me just say it was hard to only pick a few photos, seeing as they are all fantastic.

Milkglass Vintage Rentals will be stocking The Lab with some wonderful vintage goodies all over the place. So look out for these lovely additions and you too will be totally inspired and excited to add some of these props, seating sets, or gorgeous tables into the mix for your big day.

She was actually at my wedding making things look awesome. I had an idea of what I wanted and where I wanted it, but I basically left it up to her in terms of what to use and where to use it. Her styling abilities are just as wonderful as her inventory. She styled some wonderful tables, seating seats and just added props basically everywhere that fit. And it turned out wonderfully!

Oh and did I mention that Milkglass can create CUSTOM pieces?!?! Now that is totally awesome. What do you want? They can make it for you :)

{Effortless Perfection} Studio Choo Floral Design

I think the first time I fell in love with Studio Choo was when I featured one of their weddings, and just couldn't stop raving about the florals. I personally love the wildflower look and a very deconstructed look. It is all so imperfectly perfect. And it just looks effortless, which kills me every time. 

So you can imagine my excitement when hearing Studio Choo is on board for the florals at The Lab. You are all in luck, as these two just kill it and will definitely be bringing their game to The Lab! I can't wait to see what wonders these two lovely ladies come up with! {On a Sweet Note} Welcoming Shannie Cakes!

To up the sweetness quotient at The Lab in January, Shannie of Shannie Cakes will be gracing us with her fresh and modern cake designs. Shannie Cakes "specializes in custom designed wedding cakes ranging in style from the sleek contemporary to the sophisticated whimsy". Her designs are not limited to just weddings - she creates amazing children's cakes and also has a fabulous line of cakes available for local delivery cleverly named Cakes A Go-Go. Not only is Shannie supremely talented, she's one of the sweetest vendors we know. We can't wait to see what she styles for us in January - it's sure to be extraordinary!

{Celebrating Wedding Brilliance} Engaged & Inspired

This post is special, as it's about someone near and dear to me. She's a former client, turned colleague, and now friend, who also happens to be one of The Lab co-creators. Let's chat a bit about Allison Silber of Engaged & Inspired.

Over the course of the past 2 years I have witnessed Allison grow what began as a creative outlet and place to inspire and help other brides in the form of her blog, into an enterprising brand centered around working with planning brides to achieve their wedding vision. Engaged & Inspired has far expanded its reach beyond being simply another wedding blog. Late last year, Allison created The Inspired Guide, a wedding vendor directory with 1000 vendors that "helps brides stay in budget and still finding the perfect vendors for their big day".

In addition, Allison loves to connect with brides personally and share the volumes of information she's gathered about weddings and the industry. To that end, she took things out of the virtual world and recently opened the doors of Inspired Collective, a real brick and mortar shop nestled in the heart of downtown Campbell in the South Bay. The team's goal is to "help brides stay calm and stay inspired to create a wedding with personality. From crafty details to budget issues we want to be there through highs and lows offering advice, inspiration, and recommendations to keep on track and inspired. Inspired Collective offers crafting and meeting spaces, must-have bridal accessories of the season, and several very unique services that you won’t find anywhere else such as a bridal consulting service aptly called Bride Love".

Aside from being one of the co-creators of The Lab, Allison (along with The Inspired Guide) is creating The Library at the event. We can't wait to see all of the goodness that  she has in store for this neat little section of the event in January. Super thankful to have Allison as part of the team and inspiration for The Lab!
